Public bids by trade
Counts of labelled public bids by trade (architecture and engineering): who buys, how long bidders get, and what a response is asked for. Labelled bids only, with sample sizes and dates.
What a trade hub is
Each hub counts labelled bids: cleared US state and local bids that carry a trade label. Only 9.4% of cleared bids have one, so a hub is not every bid in its trade. A trade gets a hub when the release holds at least 150 labelled bids for it, we have checked a random sample of its labels, and at least 150 of its bids have a usable posting date, so that we can publish a response window. 30 other trades are under 150 labelled bids and do not publish.
Figures are from the November 1, 2026 data release (2026-11-01-r2) and update with the next one. See how we count public bids for the rules. To see the open bids that fit your own company, start with your website, free.
